Program Summary
This program is fully transferable to a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at SPC or to any state university in Florida. The day program begins in May. The evening program begins August and January. If admitted in May, you will have needed to complete additional general education courses prior to admission in order to graduate within the three semesters. Access to a computer is helpful!

Competency may be demonstrated by completing at least one course from the approved General Education Civic Literacy coursework below (minimum grade of "C" required) AND satisfactory completion of an assessment (exam). Students completing AMH 2010 or AMH 2010H in Fall 2024 or thereafter will satisfy the Civic Literacy course requirement. This requirement is in compliance with Rule 6A-10.02413 of the Florida Administrative Code; approved 5/29/2024.
Completion of this requirement satisfies the General Education Social/Behavioral Science Core requirement and the Civic Literacy course requirement for this AS degree. Students completing AMH 2010 or AMH 2010H in Fall 2024 or thereafter will satisfy the Civic Literacy course requirement. This requirement is in compliance with Rule 6A-10.02413 of the Florida Administrative Code; approved 5/29/2024.
