Program Summary

This program may be completed Fully Online. This certificate prepares students for a career in business analytics. Students will learn analytical techniques in statistics, business modeling, and data visualization that will help decision-makers make intelligent data-driven decisions.”A Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business ideas and business capabilities. They play an incredibly important role as they help to decipher the future of businesses, by identifying, creating and scoping valuable changes and enhancements to business processes” (www.e-careers.com). The business skills learned are Business Acumen, Business Analytics, Business Architecture, Business Communications, Business Development.

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Apply business analysis principles, project management techniques, and analytics tools to support innovation, solve problems, and improve organizational performance.
  2. Evaluate data models, operational structures, and decision-making processes to generate insights and drive continuous improvement.
  3. Describe the role of business analysts in bridging business ideas, technology, and organizational capabilities, including the fundamentals of computerized business activities.

Admission Requirements

(Associates degree OR 60 college credits) AND (CGS 1100, CGS 1515, COP 1000, STA 2023). 

All prerequisite courses must be satisfied prior to admission to the program.

 

Graduation Requirements

Minimum grade of "C" required in all courses.
